This Privacy Policy explains how Family Farms Forever, LLC (“we,” “us”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Ballzy app. By using the App you agree to this Policy.
1. Information we collect
Account info you provide (name, email, photo, handicap). Activity you create (rounds, scores, photos, reviews, conditions reports, messages, bookings). Approximate and precise location, when you allow it, to show nearby courses, friends on the map, the rangefinder, and shot tracking. Device and usage data (app interactions, diagnostics, push tokens). Payment processing is handled by Stripe; we receive limited transaction details but not your full card number.
2. How we use information
To provide and improve the App; show courses, tee times, live conditions, leaderboards, and social features; process bookings and payments; send notifications you opt into; maintain safety and security; and comply with law.
3. Location data
Location is used only to power features you invoke (nearby courses, friends map, rangefinder, shot tracking, check-ins). You can turn location off in your device settings at any time; some features will not work without it. We do not sell your location data.
4. How we share information
With other users as part of social features you choose to use (e.g. your scores in a shared round, your check-ins, conditions you post). With service providers that run the App on our behalf — Google Firebase (hosting, database, auth, messaging), Stripe (payments), and mapping/weather data providers. With courses you book or order from, as needed to fulfill that transaction. When required by law. We do not sell your personal information.
5. Data retention & deletion
We keep information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the App. You can delete your account at any time from Settings, which removes your profile and associated data, subject to limited retention required for legal, security, or transaction-record purposes.
6. Children
The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
7. Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your choices
You can manage location and notification permissions in your device settings, edit your profile in the App, and delete your account. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal information — contact us to exercise them.
9. Disclaimers & limitation
Information in the App, including course details, distances, and conditions, is provided for convenience and may be inaccurate. Your use of the App is also governed by our Terms of Use, including their disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification provisions, which hold Family Farms Forever, LLC and its owners harmless.
10. Changes
We may update this Policy; the “Last updated” date above reflects the latest version. Material changes may also be communicated in the App.
